Betting on the Copa do Brasil

There are numerous options for betting on the Copa do Brasil. You can bet on the individual games and the tournament as a whole. This way you can ensure that you always have some active bets and the chance of winning.

Tournament Bets

The simplest bet you can place is on a team to win the tournament. For instance, you may think that Cruzeiro are going to claim their seventh title and bet on them to do so. You may also find bets such as on who the tournament’s top goalscorer will be.

Match Result

If you are new to football betting then this is the best place to start. It is simply a bet on a team to win a game or a bet that the game will end in a draw.

Double Chance

If you think you know which team will win but you are not quite sure, then this bet is a good choice as it covers two of the three possible outcomes. For example, if Gremio were playing Sao Paulo, you could bet on: Gremio to win or draw, Sao Paulo to win or draw, or Gremio or Sao Paulo to win.

Total Goals

This is simply a bet on how many goals will be scored in the match. You are given a number and have to decide if there will be more or less goals than that number. For example, if the market was Palmeiras vs America Mineiro 2.5. You bet more if you think there will be 3 or more goals or less if you think there will be 2 or less goals.

You will also find markets allowing you to bet on the number of goals scored by each team and the number of goals scored in each half.

Goal Handicap

Very often there is a favourite to win a football match. This means that the odds are small and there isn’t the chance to win a great deal. However, the handicap markets offer far larger odds as they assign a goal handicap to the favourite team that must be overcome.

For example, Palmeiras -1.5, America Mineiro +1.5

If you bet on Palmeiras, then you win the bet if they win by at least 2 goals. If you bet on America Mineiro, then you win the bet if they win or lose by no more than 1 goal.

Exact Score

As the name suggests, this is a bet on the exact score. You are given several options to choose from. For example, you could bet on Sao Paulo to beat Flamengo 1-0, 2-1, 3-0, and so on.

This gives you the chance to back your favourite players to score a goal. For example, you could bet on Victor Vinicius Coelho dos Santos to score a goal if Flamengo were playing.

Draw No Bet

This requires you to bet on a team to win. If the game then ends in a draw you will receive your bet back.

Player and Game Proposition Bets

There are all kinds of prop bets offered for football matches. For example, you may be able to bet on a team to win by at least two goals in the early stage and automatically advance to the next round. You can bet on the first and last team/player to score, for players to be sent off, if there will be a penalty, and so on.
