Impressive Young Players in the 2023 Serie A Season

Bruno Praxedes – 21-year-old Midfielder – Red Bull Bragantino

Bruno Praxedes from Red Bull Bragantino, a 21-year-old midfielder, is one of the players to watch. He is renowned for his technical ability, vision, and creativity in the midfield, making him an important part of Red Bull Bragantino's squad.

Santos has started in five of Vasco’s Serie A fixtures this season, scoring in a 2-1 away win over Atlético Mineiro. It is the only win for Vasco this season, so far. He continues to impress for his club, as they strike to avoid relegation this season.

Marcos Leonardo – 20-year-old Forward – Santos

Marcos Leonardo, a 20-year-old forward from Santos, is also a player to keep an eye on. Known for his pace, determination, and killer instinct, Leonardo is a threat on the counter and is clinical in front of goal. Despite not being the tallest, he is also a good header of the ball and has scored a decent percentage of his goals via his head.

Leonardo has started four games for Santos, scoring a penalty in the club’s 3-2 win over América Mineiro. Santos have won three of their opening seven matches, drawing twice and losing twice.

Angelo Gabriel – 18-year-old Winger – Santos

Angelo Gabriel, also from Santos, is another rising star. At just 18 years old, Gabriel is becoming a regular name on the team sheet. He made his debut at 15 and has always played with an older group of players. Gabriel is a wide player who dribbles a fair amount and makes a high level of progressive runs. With rich technical gifts and quick feet, dribbling is his biggest strength.

Gabriel has played in all seven opening games for Santos, starting four times. He has scored twice for the club, one against Cruzeiro in a 2-1 defeat and the other in a 3-0 home win over Bahia.

His intelligence on the pitch, ability to play incredible passes through balls and move the ball forward, and his rare talent of using passing and intelligence instead of speed to get past his opponents make him a notable player in this year's competition.

This season, Franca has played six matches, starting three times. He has scored a single goal, the opener in a 3-2 away win over Bahia.

Endrick – 16-years-old – Palmeiras
