Live Grand Baccarat No Commission Rules

Live Grand Baccarat No Commission is played according to the standard rules governing no commission Baccarat. The game is played with eight decks of cards that are shuffled into a shoe. Cards are dealt to two hand positions, Player and Banker, and players need to bet on which position will have a value closer to 9 at the end of a round.

In Baccarat, Aces are worth 1, the number cards 2 to 10 are worth their face value and the face cards (Jack, Queen and King) are all worth ten. If a hand has a total of more than 10 then 10 is subtracted from the total. For instance, a hand of 12 is worth 2.

There are just three main bets in Baccarat, Banker, Player and Tie, and the game has a number of potentially lucrative side bets.

Players must place their bets on the Player, Banker or Tie positions in the allocated time and also place any side bets before the round begins. The dealer then deals two face up cards to each position. The first card goes to the Player, the second to the Banker, the third to the Player, and the fourth to the Banker.

Depending on the values of each hand position, a third card may be dealt to either one of them. A hand worth 8 or 9 is called a Natural and receives no more cards. However, if the Player hand is worth 5 or less then it receives a third card. If the Player hand does not receive a third card, then the Banker hand will receive a third card if it is worth 5 or less but will not receive a third card if it is worth 6 or more.

If the Player hand has received a third card, then the following rules govern the Banker hand. If the Banker hand is worth 2 or less, then it receives a third card. If the Banker hand is worth 3 then it receives a third card as long as the Player’s third card was not an 8. If the Banker hand is worth 5 then the Banker will receive a third card if the Player’s third card was a 4, 5, 6 or 7. If the Banker hand is worth 6 then it will receive a third card if Player’s third card was a 6 or 7. The Banker will not receive a third card if the position has a total of 7 or higher.

Once all cards have been dealt you are paid for any winning bets.

A winning Banker or Player bet is paid at even money (1:1), unless the Banker has a 6, in which case a winning Banker bet pays at 0.5:1. A winning tie bet pays out at 8:1.

Side Bets

The game offers a number of side bets. The first set of them relate to pairs being dealt.  The Player Pair and Banker Pair bets win if the first two cards dealt to a position are a pair. For instance, the 3 of Hearts and the 3 of Spades and the bets both pay 11:1.

The Either Pair bet wins if either the Banker’s or the Player’s first two cards form a pair and it pays at 5:1. There is also a Perfect Pair side bet, which pays out if the first two cards dealt to a position are identical. For instance, two 4 of Diamonds, which pays 25:1.

There are bets that relate to the total number of cards dealt in a round. The Big side bet pays out if the total number of cards dealt between the Player and Banker is 5 or 6, it pays at 0.54:1. The Small side bet pays out of the total number of cards dealt between the Player and Banker is 4, it pays at 3:2.

There is also a set of side bets called Egalite Tie that are on the value of tied hands and require you to bet on a specific value. 0 pays out 150:1, 1 pays out 215:1, 2 pays out 220:1, 3 pays out 200:1, 4 pays out 120:1, 5 pays out 110:1, 6 and 7 pay out 45:1, and 8 and 9 payout 80:1
