Live Football Roulette Rules

The game follows the standard European Roulette rules. It is played with a spinning wheel that is divided into 37 numbered segments, from 0 to 36. The croupier releases a ball into the wheel and players bet on which segment it will stop on.

A number of design factors expand the betting possibilities. For instance, the numbers do not run sequentially around the wheel, they are coloured red or black (except for zero, which is green), and the betting area has a very specific layout. This means that there are many different types of bet as it is possible to bet on individual numbers as well as groups of numbers, such as those formed by the layout of the wheel/betting area, and those that share characteristics, such as all the reds or blacks.

The basic Roulette bets are divided into inside bets (those on individual numbered spaces or the lines between them on the betting area) and outside bets (those on the spaces below and to the left of the betting area).

The inside bets are:

  • Straight – A bet on a single number
  • Street – A bet on a row of three numbers on the betting area
  • Split – A bet on two adjacent numbers
  • Corner – A bet on four numbers that form a square on the betting area
  • Line – A bet on two streets covering six numbers
  • Trio – A bet on three numbers including 0

The outside bets are:

  • Column Bet – A bet on a column of 12 numbers on the betting area
  • Dozen Bet – A bet on a set of 12 numbers, 1 – 12, 13 – 24 or 25 – 36.
  • Red/Black – A bet on all the red or all the black numbers
  • Even/Odd – A bet on all the even or all the odd numbers
  • Low/High Bet: A bet on whether the ball will land on a low or high number (1 – 18 or 19 – 36).

There is a second betting area called the Racetrack. It allows you to place some fixed betting patterns very quickly:

  • Voisins du Zero: A bet on the neighbours of 0 on the wheel, it includes every number between 22 and 25. The Voisins du Zero bet costs nine chips that are divided into: two chips as a triplet bet on 0/2/3, one chip as a split bet on 4/7, one chip as a split bet on 12/15, one chip as a split bet on 18/21, one chip as a split bet on 19/22, two chips as a corner bet on 25/26/28/29, one chip as a split bet on 32/35.
  • Tier: A bet on the area of the wheel opposite 0, the bet covers about a third of the wheel between 33 and 27. It costs six chips and covers 12 numbers including: a split bet on 5/8, a split bet on 10/11, a split bet on 13/16, a split bet on 23/24, a split bet on 27/30, a split bet on 33/36.
  • Orphelins: A bet on the numbers 17, 34, 6, 1, 20, 14, 31 and 9. It costs five chips that are divided on the following numbers: one chip as a straight bet on 1, one chip as a split bet on 6/9, one chip as a split bet on 14/17, one chip as a split bet on 17/20, one chip as a split bet on 31/34.
  • Zero: A bet on seven numbers surrounding zero on the wheel.

In addition to the two betting areas, there is a special bets shortcut to place Final, Complete Bets and Half Complete bets:

  • Final Bet: This is a bet on all the numbers that share the same last number. For example, a final bet on the number 5 would place chips on 5, 15, 25 and 35.
  • Complete Bet: This covers all the betting positions associated with a certain number. The bet consists of a Straight Bet, Split Bet, Corner Bet, Street Bet and Line Bet.
  • Half-Complete Bet: This covers the same betting positions as the Complete bet, but without the Street and Line Bets.

You have 15 seconds in which to place your chips on the betting area. Once the time has passed, the croupier will release the ball into the wheel. After it has come to a stop, you will be paid out for any winning bets.
