Learn How to Bet on Jungle Fight

While the UFC and Bellator maybe the most famous and biggest MMA organisations, they are far from the only ones. Brazil is home to its very own MMA organisation, Jungle Fight, which since 2003, has been building a bigger and bigger following.

Jungle Fight was created by the MMA fighter and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Wallid Ismail. The first event was in Manaus, Amazonas. However, it didn’t take long for Jungle Fight to spread outside of Brazil and in 2006, an event was held in Slovenia. Things slowed down a bit in the next two years, but from 2008, it began to hold regular events in Brazil.

Many people believe that Jungle Fight is the best MMA organisation in Latin America. It certainly has fans outside of Brazil and the fights are broadcast in several countries around the world.

There are eleven Jungle Fight divisions, but some of them do not have any fighters. So far the divisions to be contested are Heavyweight, Middleweight, Welterweight, Lightweight, Featherweight, Bantamweight, and Women’s Flyweight.

Over the years, some of the biggest names in MMA have competed in Jungle Fight including Rogerio Minotouro, Jose Aldo, Fabricio Werdum, Renan Barao, Lyoto Machida, Ronaldo Alligator, Rubber, Bethe Correa, and Deiveson Figueiredo.

Betting on Jungle Fight

Betting on Jungle Fight events is very simple. There may be several bets available for a fight and by combining them, you can develop strategies that give you the best chance of winning.

In addition to understanding the bets, it is also important that you do as much research as possible into the different fighters. For instance, you should look at their previous results and recent form, you need to check if they are recovering from any injuries, you should see if they have ever fought the same opponent before, see if they have said anything about training, consider the styles of the two fighters, and so on. While it may take a while to do all the research, it will give you the best possible chance of making winning bets.

Here we will take you through the most popular bets so that you fully understand all of the options available to you.

Fight Result

This is the easiest bet to make, all you have to do is decide which of the two fighters you think will win. For example, in a fight between Julio Pereira and Caique Costa, you just need to pick which fighter you think will win, it doesn’t matter how they win.

Fight to End in a Draw

While it doesn’t happen often, some Jungle Fight events do end in a draw. The odds on a draw are usually very long, so if you thin a draw is likely, it may be a good opportunity to win big.

Total Rounds

This bet requires you to predict how many rounds a fight will last. There are normally a number of options and you simply bet on whether you think there will be more or less rounds than the given number. For example, if the number is 1.5, you would bet Under if you think there will only be 1 round and Over if you think there will be 2 or more.

Fight to Go the Distance

Another simple bet, this one just requires you to decide if you think that every round of the fight will take place and that the judges will then decide who wins.

Winning Method

As you know there are many ways in which a fighter can win, such as knockout, technical knockout, and submission. This is a bet on which method the fight will be won by.

Most of the time you simply need to pick one method, e.g. submission. However, you may also see bets that cover two possibilities, such as decision or technical knockout. In that instance, as long as one of the two is the winning method, then you win the bet.

Winning Round

This bet requires you to predict which fighter will win and what round it will happen in. For instance, you could bet on Gabriel Noronha to beat Izaque Nascimento in the second round.

Round and Method

This is the hardest bet to get right and as such, it offers the chance of the biggest winnings. You need to decide which fighter will win, how they will win and in what round. For example, you could bet that Mauricio Almeida will defeat Rodrigo de Moura via submission in the second round.
