How to bet on the Indian Wells Masters

Match Winner

This is a bet on which player will win a match. If Novak Djokovic faces Nick Kyrgios in the Indian Wells Masters, you can bet on Djokovic to win or on Kyrgios to win.

Handicap of Games

This is a bet on a player to win a match by a margin of games. It comes at longer odds than a simple match winner bet, as the player will need to also overcome the handicap. There are also handicap bets that favour a player, in which case a certain number of games are added to the player’s score of games at the end of the match. However, the positive handicaps will shorten the player’s odds considerably.

For example, if you bet on Rafael Nadal to beat Carlos Alcarez with a handicap of -5.5 then you will need Nadal to win the match and be 6 games or more clear of his opponent. A score of 6-3, 6-4 is not enough, as Nadal will only be 5 games clear of Alcarez. If the match ends 6-2, 6-3 then Nadal will be 7 games clear and your bet will win. The rules also apply if the match goes into a third set, in which case a score of 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 to Nadal will not be enough as he will only be 5 games clear.

Total Games

In the Indian Wells Masters, matches are played to a best-of-3 sets. You can bet on how many games will be played during a match using the total games bets. To place a bet, you need to pick one of the betting lines offered and then bet on whether the match will end with over or under that number of games.

For example, if you pick a high line of 24.5, then you will need the match to end with 25 games or more. If the match is decided in two sets, then you will lose your bet as even if the game ended 7-5, 7-5 then only 24 games will be played. If the game ends 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 then you will lose your bet as well, as only 24 games have been played. A score of 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 will win as the match will finish with 27 games, but you need to be careful when placing really high or really low totals bets.

Game Props

Game props usually either relate to specific match statistics or to events that may or may not happen during a match. For example, you can find markets relating to deuces, aces, tie-breaks, and so on. There will also be bets on aspects of the match such as whether will there be a third set, will a player come back to win from 1-0, will a player win in straight sets, and various similar bets.

And Many More

You will have even more bets to pick from, relating to individual sets, games, and more. Live betting is also highly popular for tennis. When a match is in play, then there will be countless bets on ongoing sets, the following game, the following 2 games, and all the other bets you can possibly hope for.
